Two great authors
After Tolkien’s death, The Silmarillion was finally published – at least in part. Tolkien’s son, Christopher, compiled several stories from the notebooks, which sold well because of the fame of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. Later other bits and pieces from the notebooks were also published. However, they are generally enjoyed only by the most diehard Tolkien fan.
