Tears welled up in my eyes as I entered The Kilns, and do so now as I recall the moment. It was as if I had come home after a long and treacherous journey; as if I belonged there and was meant to be here. God was speaking to me. That week I listened harder than I had ever listened in my life. On the last day of that visit I met Walter Hooper, who was to change my life by giving his support to a book not yet written, or even conceived.
