Sitting
Sitting for too long can have many negative affects on your health. It increases risk of obesity, cardiovascular disease and even cancer. It can also cause you to slouch and have bad posture, which which can lead to pain in your back, neck and shoulders, and cut off circulation to your lower body.
So what can you do? You can’t completely avoid sitting, but you can try to stand when possible and take regular breaks. Stretch or walk while chatting with a co-worker or talking on the phone. Even five minutes of stretching or walking around your office several times a day can improve your circulation and make you feel more energized.
