Whenever you don't give in to the urge to binge, overeat, or be sedentary all day you strengthen your "moderation muscles." Those are the ones that enable you to meet your goals to be thinner, healthier and happier. It's an absolutely great feeling to not stuff your face, even though you want to. It feels wonderful to have played today, and used your body. Every time you resist your self-destructive urges and habits, and don’t act on them you deserve a gold medal. Allow yourself the luxury of really savoring the marvelous feeling of accomplishment.
