My Husband and all the other Soldiers
Protect those who protect us

A kind word solves many a conflict, help us to be mindful of what we say when confronted with those who do not support us.

For my husband, currently serving in Iraq.

Light, protect and watch over our troops always, and especially in this time of war. Please help us to remember that these Soldiers, our family members, fight to help others have the freedoms we have here. Please also remind us that those who demonstrate against our Soldiers and the war are doing so through the freedom for which our Soldiers fought and provided them. Love, peace, light to all.

"It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us the freedom of
the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom
of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us
the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who
serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who
allows the protester to burn the flag."
