On World AIDS Day (Dec. 1), A Memorial For Uncle Gerard
Sweet Uncle

This memorial is for Uncle Gerard and in commemoration of December 1st, World AIDS Day

Uncle G, you always lived life to the fullest in your own special way. Yet in the midst of your illness and suffering, you still managed to always make us laugh or feel better about ourselves. You are dearly missed by your mother, four surviving sisters, two brothers, countless other family members. We are all still inspired by your love, your sense of humor, and your bravery. You faced your illness head on, and you truly lived life until the end.

This memorial is also in commemoration of World AIDS Day (Dec 1). To all people around the world who have succumbed to AIDS and their families, know that you are not alone. Deceased loved ones are all missed and thought of on this special day, and every day. While they have passed on waiting for a cure, they certainly did not die in vain. Rest assured that a cure is ever closer.

Dearly Departed: We love you. We miss you. In your memory, we keep working to find a cure so that others may someday survive the AIDS virus.
