How your man reacts to this is telling. Some guys cringe when their friends talk about getting married. Some guys roll their eyes. Some guys turn white with fear.

But if your man smiles wistfully and is willing—and even excited—to talk about marriage, it’s a sign he’s ready for it, himself.

This is him being vulnerable—he is essentially saying, “Here. This is my entire life and history on display for you.”

This vulnerability and willingness to integrate you fully into his life is one of the surest signs of devotion, love, and a desire for something more in the relationship.

But if your man invites you into his vacation space, or accepts your invitation to vacation together, this means that you’re now in the inner sanctum. He’s comfortable with your presence, and is confident that he can relax around you.

This also signals a level of commitment that rises above the typical dating scene—a step above date night, but below moving in together.
