Qur'an, Ash-Shura, Surah 42:28-30

He is the One that sends down rain (even) after (men) have given up all hope, and scatters His Mercy (far and wide). And He is the Protector, Worthy of all Praise. And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the living creatures that He has scattered through them: and He has power to gather them together when He wills. Whatever misfortune happens to you, is because of the things your hands have wrought, and for many (of them) He grants forgiveness.
