Qur'an, An-Nisa, Surah 4:1

O people, honor your Lord, who created you from a single being. From that being God created a mate; and through them he covered the earth with countless men and women. Honor God, in whose name you demand from one another your rights; and honor the ties of kinship. God is constantly watching over you.
