God loves you immensely. No action you make and no sin that you commit can make Him love you any less. The Bible tells us, “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.” Countless Scriptures remind us not just that God loves but that He is love. The Bible says God’s love is perfect. Exodus 34:6 says, “The Lord passed in front of Moses, calling out, “Yahweh! The Lord! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.” No matter how many bad decisions you make, God’s love for you never ends. God’s love surpasses human love. He loves you for you and we can always depend on that love. Here are six Bible verses that speak of God’s unfailing love for us.

God’s Love is Unconditional

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God…” (Ephesians 2:8).

It’s hard for us as humans to wrap our minds around the immensity of God’s unconditional love for us. Ephesians 2:4-5 says, “But God is so rich in mercy, and He loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, He gave us life when He raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!). No matter what you have done, no matter where you’ve been, no matter what you feel, God love doesn’t fail. You are loved perfectly, unconditionally and unfailingly by God. His love comes first.

God’s Love Can Never Be Broken

“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:3).

God loved us first and that love will always remain. As a result of His love for you, He will never leave or forsake you. He is there during the good times and the bad. God is always present in your life, even in your lonely and broken hours. It’s important that you remain faithful and not lose hope. The Bible tells us, “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. And we out to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters” (1 John 3:16). How incredible is that? You may feel like you’re alone, but God is right there. Scripture promises that the Lord will fight for us. We only need to be still. Trust that God is a constant presence in your life.

God’s Love Has Miracle Power

“He is the one you praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes” (Deuteronomy 10:21).

Only God’s love has the power to make the miraculous happen. When you are in a very hard situation, God wants you to remember that miracles happen. These miracles show up in every dream that you have that comes true, in every enlightening moment you have, in every person who has moved or transformed your life, and in every person you love – in these very moments, God’s making miracles happen. These miracles aren’t always going to be big. Sometimes, they are small. He is bringing you small miracles so that you can believe in the bigger ones. Look around you. When you look for the small miracles, you will see that they are everywhere.

God’s Love Has Healing Power

“Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’” (Matthew 19:26).

God’s love also has healing power. As the above verse reminds us, all things are possible with God. Jesus is the number one healer. A great portion of Christ’s time was dedicated to healing the sick and downtrodden. He healed all kinds of people including the blind, the paralyzed, the deaf, the lame, lepers, those who had fever, and many with chronic illnesses, among others. If you have any question of His healing power, turn to Scripture. There is no record in the Gospels of Jesus turning away anyone who came to Him for healing. He did all of this because of His immense love for humanity.

God’s Love Guides Our Paths

“And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them” (1 John 4:16).

God’s plan for our lives is a wonderful reminder of God’s unfailing love for us. The Bible tells us, “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11). God has a perfect plan for you. Sometimes it seems like His plans are always different from our plans, but His plans are always perfect. He never does it all at once, just step by step because He wants to teach us to walk by faith, not by sight. It’s important that we are patient and trust in His timing.

God’s Love Strengthens Us

“It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres” (1 Corinthians 13:7).

God love will carry us through any situation we’re facing no matter the size or intensity. The Bible tells us, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze” (Isaiah 43:2). Every difficult situation you face, whether big or small, is preparing you to be stronger. God will use your trials to produce greater faith and strength if you allow Him to. Your pain has purpose, even when you don’t understand why in this moment.
