Everyone has different experiences and encounters with God. They are personalized to each individual, like our paths, and choices. These experiences can be transformations, miracles, encouragement, or revelation of who Jesus is.

People have supernatural encounters of going to heaven, seeing angels, or having a manifestation of the Holy Spirit. Many believers don’t have that personal experience and the results are less blatant. We can see God's role all around us.

Science plays a part in the reason I believe in God.

“The most beautiful system of the sun, planets, and comets, could only proceed from the counsel and dominion on an intelligent and powerful Being,” said Isaac Newton.”

Look at the universe, its complexity, and its order. Nature is another reason to believe in God, and the details of the leaves, or trees, makes one ponder a great creator.

Look at the miracle of life. The way our cells, organs, and the way our bodies heal themselves. Look at our DNA, it’s a code designed by a conscience mind and creator, nothing is amiss in this data, it's very specific.

“The data at the core of life is not disorganized,” said author Lee Strobel.

“It's not simply orderly like salt crystals, but it's complex and specific information that can accomplish a bewildering task--building of biological machines that far outstrip human technological capabilities.”

Besides from the physical, finding God through Christ Jesus brings a peace. If you are looking for peace outside of yourself –the Holy Spirit is there. People will disappoint, but God remains.  We can go to His word, seek prayer, and find hope in a unstable world.

Jesus said “I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Regardless of how you discovered God, everyone is different and takes a different path of experiences.

Maybe you had a miracle, or an encounter with God or Jesus. Share your story with us.
