As we reflect on sports film of the past we are reminded of moments that made them so special. American sports like football, hockey, boxing, baseball, golf, swimming, basketball, and soccer all have impacted us greatly, and also on film. Let’s take a look at some memorable moments on film. The Wrestler (2008) is loosely based on Robin Ramzinsk, a wrestler in the 1980s, who continues to wrestler despite being ill and having a heart attack.
