The couple will soon celebrate their 20th wedding, managing to defy the odds in Hollywood by staying happily married since 1997. Parker revealed that the secret to a happy marriage is keeping quiet about the details of their love life. Broderick on the other hand has let slip what makes their bond strong. “We really are friends beyond everything else and we talk a lot,” he told Meredith Vieira in 2014. “She’s really funny, she makes me laugh.” While they don’t spend a lot of time in the spotlight together, when they do, they look stunning and happy above all else.

Denzel and Pauletta Washington

Denzel and Pauletta have been through a lot in their 30 plus years of marriage, the two are still in deep love with each other. When asked about the keys to keeping a lasting relationship, Pauletta said, “For me, the ‘love’ in the love story is how you come through the trials. The passion, the lust – that’s easy. The love story is how you come out in love after hardship.” When Denzel was asked a similar question, he said the secret to his lasting marriage was marrying someone who knows about love and finding someone who knows the things he doesn’t. In an interview with Extra, Denzel said, “I didn’t know everything there was to know about love, but I married a woman who did and how to share that.”

These days, a lengthy Hollywood romance is counted in months, not years. And then there’s Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson. With a marriage more than two decades long and still strong, they are one of the longest-running marriages in Hollywood and thought of by many as the celebrity world’s perfect couple. Anytime they are spotted at a public event, they seem more in love than ever. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Hanks reflected on what’s kept the couple together for so many years. “When we first looked at each other, there was definitely a kind of, ‘He, this is the place!’ I felt that anyway,” he said. “I think the end result is that we got married for all the right reasons.”

Legend and Teigen are not afraid to show the world how much they love each other and the inspiration for many of our favorite love ballads from Legend are inspired by his relationship with Teigen. Legend penned the piano-driven power ballad “All of Me” specifically for Teigen. In the song, Legend sings that he cannot live without Teigen, accepting her flaws and all. “What would I do without your smart mouth,” he sings in the song’s opening line. Later he sings, “Love your curves all and all your edges. All your perfect imperfections.” In an interview with Huffington Post, Teigen said hearing the song moved her to tears. It would move us too!
