Chesterton's defense of the Christian faith. John Wilson, the editor of Books and Culture: A Christian Review, said: "G.K. Chesterton's 'Orthodoxy' is a book that cries out to be read and re-read at this particular moment in time. Religion, we're being told right and left, is bad--that is, organized religion. Chesterton is the antidote to such fashionable stuff. His 'Orthodoxy' is full of sentences that hit you like a triple espresso, and you begin to understand the seemingly contradictory label that some young theologians--led by the brilliant John Milbank--have chosen as their banner: 'Radical Orthodoxy.'"
