Where is God in the middle of this financial crisis? Is this recession
\nhappening because we being called to learn and to live our lives
\ndifferently? <\/p>\n

These are questions I ask myself. Of course, I don’t know the answer to
\nthese questions in any definite way, but I do have my hunches. Since
\nwhatever is happening is God’s will, perhaps we should consider that
\nthere is some greater purpose and lesson for all us, individually and
\ncollectively, to reflect on? <\/p>\n

For myself, I know that whenever things get challenging in my life
\nexternally<\/i>, it’s usually due to something going on with me internally<\/i>.
\nI’ve come to know that it’s always about being in right relationship
\nwith God and allowing Him to work through me and around me. The more I
\ntrust and allow, the more my life expands. But this has not always been
\nso. Like everyone, I have also experienced times of negativity and
\ndoubt in which there was little room for receiving God’s grace. So now, I
\ntry to be vigilant in finding and releasing any negativity or resistance so that I am open and receptive to receiving God’s
\nofferings. I’m a bit like a Bounty Hunter, tracking down my own opposing forces to grace in exchange for God’s bounty of inner peace and
\nabundance.<\/p>\n

There truly is more money, more of everything…but sometimes we’re
\nlooking for it in the wrong places. Money and security is not some
\ndistant place outside of you. It is a place that you create on the inside<\/i> through cultivating your relationship with
\nGod. In order to have, you must be fully available to receive. <\/p>\n

The questions I ask you to reflect on today are:
\nWhat might be blocking you from fully receiving God’s grace?
\nIs there something you need to let go of so that both arms are free to receive his Embrace? <\/p>\n

Everything comes from and ultimately belongs to God and there is, I
\nbelieve, an infinite supply that is available to each of us. This
\nsupply ebbs and flows in direct relationship to our consciousness and
\nwillingness to let go and let God.<\/p>\n

Here’s a Prayer for Receiving:<\/p>\n

Dear God, please ease our hearts in this world of uncertainty,
\nAs we balance that which we desire with our true need,
\nAs we look for higher values in the midst of material loss,
\nAs we remember the wealth and abundance born of your creation,
\nAnd know that as you move us from fear to love,
\nWe will be enriched with the treasures of spirit and peace.
