Let us pray today for all our friends, family and neighbors who are worried about money, have suffered a job loss or are struggling to survive personally and financially.  <\/font>

So I’ll sit here now and I’ll pray to You
\n(‘though I can’t really say why),
\nas the walls collapse around me
\nand my loved ones suffer and die,<\/p>\n

and my health gives way and bills pile up
\nand time slips too quickly past,
\nas I count all the joys life’s denied me,
\nand those that didn’t last.<\/p>\n

I’ll offer You thanks, my Creator,
\nfor the gifts You’ve yet to repeal;
\nfor walking and vision and laughter,
\nfor music, and dreams that seem real,<\/p>\n

for people who love me and seasons that change,
\nfor my body’s own memories of love,
\nand I’ll sit here and pray in the darkness,
\nfor all the good it does.<\/p>\n
