\"Shouse.jpg\"<\/span>Happy March 4th! It may be a work day, but it’s a holiday, too, the day on which we’re invited to march forth<\/i> into the rest of our year, the rest of our lives. I learned about March 4th some years ago when my friend Deborah Shouse<\/a> (pictured here) — journalist, author, storyteller, Alzheimer’s activist, and Renaissance woman — invited me to her annual March 4th party, challenging all guests to take the admonition of the day to heart and march forth<\/i> with confidence and vision.<\/p>\n

I love knowing about March 4th because it gives us all another chance. If those New Year’s Resolutions bit the dust several weeks ago, we can start all over today. Of course that’s true for every day, but having a date so well named helps a lot. So, in what ways do you aspire to march forth today and on into your future?<\/p>\n
