{"id":1455,"date":"2011-09-11T13:46:15","date_gmt":"2011-09-11T17:46:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/yearofsundays\/?p=1455"},"modified":"2011-09-11T13:46:15","modified_gmt":"2011-09-11T17:46:15","slug":"live-blogging-our-911-church-crawl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/yearofsundays\/2011\/09\/live-blogging-our-911-church-crawl.html","title":{"rendered":"LIVE BLOGGING OUR 9\/11 CHURCH CRAWL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In honor of the ten year anniversary of 9\/11, we figured it was high time we visited a faith that neither of us knows much about: ISLAM.\u00a0 In preparation, I took Beliefnet&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/Faiths\/Islam\/Quiz\/How-Much-Do-You-Know-About-Islam.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Test Your Knowledge of Islam quiz<\/a> and my score (two correct out of a dozen or so questions) made it clear that this visit is loooooong overdue. Our main goal today is to learn as much as we can about this too often misunderstood and misrepresented religion and then report back to you with our usual flare.<\/p>\n<p>After the Open House at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rizwanmosque.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rizwan Mosque<\/a>, we&#8217;ll be heading to a multi-faith gathering at St. Luke&#8217;s Lutheran Church and maybe even hitting a few other 9\/11 inspired gatherings along the way.<\/p>\n<p>As a bonus, we&#8217;ll be doing our best to update the blog LIVE throughout the day.
