Whenever we are feeling weary, exhausted and overcome, we can remember that God\u2019s word is full of His promises for us. Here are 11 verses to help uplift spirits.<\/p>\n
Jeremiah 29:11 \u201c<\/strong>For I know the plans\u00a0I have for you,\u201d declares the\u00a0Lord, \u201cplans to prosper\u00a0you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.\u201d With God having a plan for your life, there is no reason to fear what can and will happen in the future. He says so Himself that He has a plan to prosper you and to give you a future filled with hope. Take Him at His word. Let His plans come over you and embrace the days He gives you with joy in your heart.<\/p>\n Philippians 1:6 \u201cBeing confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion\u00a0until the day of Christ Jesus.\u201d If God has already started a good work in you, will He not bring it to completion? Trust in Him and His word. He hasn\u2019t let you down and He never will.<\/p>\n Romans 15:13, \u201cMay the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace\u00a0as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.\u201d There is nothing better than the peace of God that surpasses all human understanding. Trust in Him and in His plan for your life. He will bring you peace when you need it the most.<\/p>\n Proverbs 19:20-21 \u201cListen to advice and accept discipline,\u00a0and at the end you will be counted among the wise.\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Many are the plans in a person\u2019s heart,\u00a0but it is the\u00a0Lord\u2019s purpose that prevails.\u201d Listen to any advice that is given to you with graciousness instead of being easily offended by what others may say to you. We have so much planned for our own lives. We want things to go exactly the way we plan, but the reality is that God is already in control of every aspect of our lives. If we want to be wise we must be able to listen to advice and criticism without getting angry.<\/p>\n Proverbs 3: -6 \u201cTrust in the\u00a0Lord\u00a0with all your heart\u00a0and lean not on your own understanding;\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>in all your ways submit to him,\u00a0and he will make your paths\u00a0straight.\u201d In all your ways and during all of your days, acknowledge Him and He will give you the desires of your heart. Even when it doesn\u2019t seem as though He is there, He is always guiding you and He will get you back on the path He wants you to take.<\/p>\n 1 Peter 1:3-4 \u201cPraise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!\u00a0In his great mercy,\u00a0he has given us new birth\u00a0into a living hope\u00a0through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,\u00a0and into an inheritance\u00a0that can never perish, spoil, or fade.\u00a0This inheritance is kept in heaven for you.\u201d Wat a joy to know that He is keeping an inheritance for us in Heaven.<\/p>\n 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 \u201cFor our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.\u00a0So, we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen,\u00a0since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.\u201d Everything that is unseen, including God and Heaven, is eternal. We may not be able to see Him or heaven yet, but we know both are waiting for us. Hat an amazing thing it is to know that God is waiting for us and preparing a place for us in Heaven. This world is not our home and we are not of this world. To know our place is in Heaven and our true home is in Heaven is so incredible.<\/p>\n Lamentations 3:21-23 \u201cYet this I call to mind\u00a0and therefore I have hope: Because of the\u00a0Lord\u2019s great love\u00a0we are not consumed,\u00a0for his compassions never fail.\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>They are new every morning;\u00a0great is your faithfulness.\u201d Thank God that His mercies are new every morning and that we can find rest in the comfort of His word.<\/p>\n Proverbs 16:1-4 \u201cTo humans belong the plans of the heart,\u00a0but from the\u00a0Lord\u00a0comes the proper answer of the tongue.\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>All a person\u2019s ways seem pure to them,\u00a0but motives are weighed\u00a0by the\u00a0Lord. Commit to the\u00a0Lord\u00a0whatever you do,\u00a0and he will establish your plans. The\u00a0Lord\u00a0works out everything to its proper end\u2014\u00a0even the wicked for a day of disaster.\u201d It is an amazing feeling to know that He knows exactly what will happen each and every day of our lives. If we give our lives to Him, He will bless our lives more than we can ever imagine.<\/p>\n James 4:13-17 \u201cNow listen,\u00a0you who say, \u201cToday or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.\u201d\u00a0Why you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Instead, you ought to say, \u201cIf it is the Lord\u2019s will,\u00a0we will live and do this or that.\u201d\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil.\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn\u2019t do it, it is sin for them.\u201d If the things that happen are the Lord\u2019s will, then everything will be ok.<\/p>\n Psalm 103:1-5 \u201cPraise the\u00a0Lord,\u00a0my soul;\u00a0all my inmost being, praise his holy name.\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Praise the\u00a0Lord,\u00a0my soul,\u00a0and forget not\u00a0all his benefits\u2014who forgives all your sins and heals\u00a0all your diseases,\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>who redeems your life\u00a0from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies\u00a0your desires with good things, so that your youth is renewed\u00a0like the eagle\u2019s.\u201d We can take the time to praise Him and give Him thanks for all he has done.<\/p>\n Hopefully, all of these verses will bring light into your darkness as you remember the goodness and daily renewed mercies of God.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Whenever we are feeling weary, exhausted and overcome, we can remember that God\u2019s word is full of His promises for us.
