Are you worried about what lies ahead tomorrow? What has you so worried? Is it because things just aren\u2019t going your way? It the worry coming from somewhere deep within your soul? Are you worried about making a mistake in some big area of your job? Are you worried your boss will not be pleased with you and the work you do? Instead of focusing on the stress of each day ahead of you in this earthly life,, you can find peace and joy focusing on your eternal tomorrow.<\/p>\n
Are you concerned with what others may think of your work and start judging you on your work? Instead of constantly worrying and thinking about what will happen tomorrow, we should be more focused on having an \u201ceternal tomorrow\u201d with Jesus and God in Heaven. Doesn\u2019t an \u201ceternal tomorrow\u201d sound more appealing than worrying about what will happen in each of our days here on Earth?<\/p>\n
Mathew 6: 25-34 says, \u201cTherefore I tell you, do not worry\u00a0about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.\u00a0Are you not much more valuable than they? Can anyone of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” \u00a0<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cAnd why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor\u00a0was dressed like one of these.\u00a0If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you? You of little faith?\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>So, do not worry, saying, \u2018What shall we eat?\u2019 or \u2018What shall we drink?\u2019 or \u2018What shall we wear?\u2019\u00a0For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.\u00a0But seek first his kingdom\u00a0and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.\u201d<\/p>\n This verse specifically tells us not to worry about anything in our lives but it can be very difficult not to worry about things because it is in our human nature to be concerned, concerned about our wellbeing, how we will provide for our family and for our friends. There is also much concern about the things that are happening in our world today. You might ask yourself, \u201chow can I not worry about tomorrow when there is so much at stake?\u201d<\/p>\n But instead of worrying about what will happen tomorrow, we should first start out by thanking Him for another day of our lives and to give us another tomorrow in order to serve Him with everything we have. We may not think of it in that life, all the time because we don\u2019t even know hen our life will end. But instead of worrying about our lives, we should be focused on the \u201ceternal tomorrow\u201d that awaits us in Heaven. When we believe in God, we get salvation freely given to us by God, which means we have a place waiting for us with Jesus when we get to Heaven.<\/p>\n So, instead of freaking out and worrying about how we will get through each day and each tomorrow of our lives here on Earth, we can re-shift our focus to remember and remind ourselves that through faith, we have salvation and have something even more amazing than any of our tomorrows here on Earth. None of our tomorrows here on Earth can even come close to the tomorrow that is waiting for us in Heaven. Let it bring you joy, peace, and excitement to know that you have your Savior and eternity with Him waiting for you, even if your days on earth are long and exhausting. Remember that no matter how bad life here on Earth may get, as you go through each day and every tomorrow, each step gets you closer to being with Jesus in heaven one day.<\/p>\n We should be more focused on our faith and the eternal tomorrow that Jesus provides for us. Jesus loves each of us so much that He willingly died on the cross for us. He suffered unimaginable torture. All to have the chance to give us the privilege of having a chance to come to know Him personally as our Lord and savior and have an \u201ceternal tomorrow\u201d with Him in Heaven.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Are you worried about what lies ahead tomorrow?
