Just recently, I found myself in the middle of a very hard situation. I had to walk away from something that I didn\u2019t want to walk away from. But I had to because of the circumstances. God gave me the strength I didn\u2019t even know I had within me. I had to walk away from someone that I love just because of dishonesty.\u00a0 I let it go for a while but then it started to affect my health. I knew I had to talk to the person about it before it got any worse. It was a hard time because I never wanted to walk away from the person.\u00a0 It was difficult for both of us. I never wanted it to come to that point, but I still enjoy that person’s presence in my life. I pray for them and wish nothing but the best for them.\u00a0 They helped me see that I deserved better and to stand up for myself. The situation also taught me how to stand up and gave me a greater perspective on how to stand my ground when I didn\u2019t see change happening. It also gave me a greater appreciation for being able to tell someone how I truly felt.<\/p>\n
If you\u2019ve ever found yourself in a situation like that, take the time to pray about just breaking it off before you just act on your emotions and just do it in the heat of the moment. There is nothing good about getting into a heated argument and piling on how you feel about something to someone else. When you do that it only makes the other person feel attacked.<\/p>\n
Whenever you have something on your mind that\u2019s bothering you, you can be brave enough and strong enough to tell anyone how you feel.\u00a0 It is sometimes hard to say things because you are afraid to hurt someone else\u2019s feelings. But once you are able to get them off your chest, don\u2019t you sometimes feel free? Wouldn\u2019t you rather be free from the thoughts that hurt you or haunt you and get them off your chest? There is no better feeling than getting something off your chest and feeling as if you can breathe afterward. Let God put His words into your mind, your heart and your soul and let Him do the talking.<\/p>\n
Remember how much you are worth and never settle for anything less than what you deserve.\u00a0 You don’t deserve someone who lies to you about anything. Honesty is always the best option no matter what happens. Even if telling the truth hurts one or both of you, it is so much better, to tell the truth than to ever lie.<\/p>\n
Walking away from someone you love is often the hardest thing you might ever do. But if it helps you and the other person mature in the long run it was or will be worth it in the end.<\/p>\n
It is better to end a relationship and mature for yourself than to be stressed out to the point of being sick or worse. Always talk to someone you care about and try to work it out. But if nothing changes then it is time to make the choice to walk away. As hard as it can be it can be the best thing for both of you.<\/p>\n
Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. You never deserve anything less than the truth. You never deserve to be lied to. Nor do you deserve to lie to yourself. Lying only causes more pain and then the trust is broken and it can never put it back quite the same way it was. Once trust is broken it can never be rebuilt the same way it once was. It takes so much time to build that trust and only seconds to break down. Why cause more pain and suspicion with anyone and everyone around you when you can easily be honest? Never be afraid, to tell the truth when someone asks for it.<\/p>\n
If something is gnawing at you constantly, pray about it first and ask God for the right words and ask Him to be with you as you tell someone how you feel. God isn\u2019t deaf to your prayers and your cries. In fact, He hears you and as I said before, He gives you the strength you didn\u2019t even know you had within you. He often times gives you His strength to face situations head-on in your weakest moments. No matter what you\u2019re facing, you can and will get through the situation and you\u2019ll walk away from the situation a wiser and stronger version of yourself than what you had before. It will definitely surprise you how strong you are.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
