That same line can be viewed as the way God loves every single one of us and helps us through our lives on a day to day basis. Look at all the times He stood by us, made us see the truth, and has brought joy into our lives and all the wrongs that He makes right. We are blessed every day to love our Lord and Savior and to be loved by Him. He could have very easily damned us all into hell, but instead He sent His son to die for us on the cross. God often puts us into uncomfortable situations to see how we react. When we lose our faith he gives it back to us.
