Well He was all of those things and more than that. He had all the emotions that we have such as anger, sadness, stress, maybe even uncertainty. He had fear in His heart, but He also trusted His father’s plan for His life.
There are specific verses in the Bible that point to Jesus having all the emotion that we have. Jesus wept when Lazarus died. After all, Lazarus was one of Jesus’ best and closest friends. The story of Lazarus’s death and Jesus showing sadness: John 11: 17 “On his arrival, Jesus found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb for four days. 18 Now Bethany was less than two miles[b] from Jerusalem, 19 and many Jews had come to Martha and Mary to comfort them in the loss of their brother. 20 When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went out to meet him, but Mary stayed at home.21 “Lord,” Martha said to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask.” 23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”24 Martha answered, “I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”27 “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.” 28 After she had said this, she went back and called her sister Mary aside. “The Teacher is here,” she said, “and is asking for you.” 29 When Mary heard this, she got up quickly and went to him. 30 Now Jesus had not yet entered the village, but was still at the place where Martha had met him. 31 When the Jews who had been with Mary in the house, comforting her, noticed how quickly she got up and went out, they followed her, supposing she was going to the tomb to mourn there. 32 When Mary reached the place where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.”33 When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. 34 “Where have you laid him?” he asked. “Come and see, Lord,” they replied.35 Jesus wept. 36 Then the Jews said, “See how he loved him!”

Jesus threw the tax collectors out of the churches and overturned tables because He was angry that anyone would treat His Father’s house as a collection pit. Mathew 21: 12 “Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves.”
Jesus showed sadness during the time He was in the garden of Gethsemane, praying that the cup of sorrow would be taken away from Him. He showed sadness when His own disciples abandoned Him when He was brought for trial. He showed sadness when they couldn’t even keep watch with Him for even an hour in the garden of gethsemane. He showed courage in the middle of His biggest trial. He was stressed to the max in the garden of Gethsemane. He was stressing to the point He sweat blood.
Mathew 26: 36-46 tells the story of Jesus and His disciples being in the garden. “Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.” 37 He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him, and he began to be sorrowful and troubled. 38 Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.” 39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” 40 Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Could you men not keep watch with me for one hour?” he asked Peter. 41 “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak.” 42 He went away a second time and prayed, “My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done.” 43 When he came back, he again found them sleeping, because their eyes were heavy. 44 So he left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing. 45 Then he returned to the disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour is near, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. 46 Rise, let us go! Here comes my betrayer!”

He showed love in many ways. He knew how to teach others His example of love as well. He said in the Bible love one another as I have loved you and love your neighbor as yourself. John 13: 34 says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

Jesus was angry at Peter and actually called him Satan when Peter said that His death would never happen. That’s a pretty big statement to make to have your Lord and Savior compare you to Satan and actually call you Satan. Mathew 16: 21-23 tells us the story: 21 From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.22 Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Never, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to you!”23 Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”
Even in the midst of His sorrow on the cross, Jesus had to feel joy when the thief asked Him to remember him when He came into His Kingdom. He rejoices in anyone and everyone who comes to believe in Him.
All of these things prove that Jesus was just as human as everyone on Earth. He showed all of these emotions and then some. He possesses God’s power to help anyone and everyone in need. He had both human restraint in the midst of temptation and the God given abilities to do what His father had told Him to do. All of these things and more prove that He was and is true God and true man.

Ever think that Jesus isn’t and wasn’t really human and true God and even true man?
