Osama bin Laden is experiencing one of death’s disadvantages: his dirty laundry is being exposed especially his suspected penchant for viewing pornography. Among the items recovered from his
\nhideout in Pakistan, the Navy SEALs confiscated a “stash” of pornographic material.<\/p>\n

While not much is known about bin Laden’s sexual proclivities, the discovery of pornographic material shouldn’t shock most Americans since radical Muslims also share a penchant for hypocrisy\u00a0when it comes to deviant sexual behavior.<\/p>\n

As reported earlier this year by the Law Enforcement Examiner, one issue that’s avoided is the widespread sexual intercourse between Afghan Taliban men and young boys. In non- diplomatic terms,\u00a0Afghanistan is a haven for child rape.<\/p>\n

While Muslims in Iraq have on several occasions stoned homosexuals for their sexual activities, not all Muslims believe pedophilia is a violation of Shariah law. \u00a0Those who believe in the sacredness\u00a0and infallibility of the Koran adhere to the teaching that women are sub-human and quasi-slaves, and therefore Muslim men will look for relationships — even sexual relationships — with others of\u00a0their own gender.<\/p>\n

According to Reuters, there is a lot of homosexuality going on in Afghanistan, but those engaging in it don’t think of themselves as gay, so that makes it okay since Islam officially disapproves of the\u00a0gay and lesbian lifestyle.<\/p>\n

“They regard themselves as non-gay because they don\u2019t \u201clove\u201d the sex object so Allah is happy. These are the men who avoid their wives as unclean. Apparently there is very little love of any kind in\u00a0Afghanistan, which explains a lot,” according to Reuters.<\/p>\n

Sociologists and anthropologists say the problem results from a perverse interpretation of Islamic law. Women are simply unapproachable. Afghans cannot talk to an unrelated woman until after\u00a0proposing marriage. Before then, they can’t even look at a woman, except perhaps her feet. Otherwise she is covered, head to ankle, according to columnist Joel Brinkley, a professor of journalism at\u00a0Stanford University, and a former Pulitzer Prize-winning foreign correspondent for the New York Times.<\/p>\n
