While plugging her new book, \u201cPaula Deen\u2019s Southern Cooking Bible,\u201d the feisty TV chef took a pot shot at Michelle for gorging herself on greasy french fries, fatty hot chicken wings and sug\u00adary deep-fried Snickers bars!<\/p>\n

\u201cMichelle\u2019s spitting mad,\u201d a source told The ENQUIRER.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe thinks Paula is trying to smear her and her family just as the 2012 presidential election race swings into gear.\u201d<\/p>\n

The trouble first be\u00adgan before Barack Obama was even elected president in 2008, when Michelle made a guest appearance on Deen\u2019s popular \u201cPaula\u2019s Party\u201d show and revealed that fried shrimp was her family\u2019s favorite meal.<\/p>\n

Then in an interview af\u00adter filming the program, Paula quipped that Michelle would be serving high-fat, greasy and sugary foods in the White House if Obama won the elec\u00adtion!<\/p>\n

Now Paula is rehashing those at\u00adtacks on Michelle in an attempt to plug her latest cookbook and offset Michelle’s new book about eating healthy, noted the source.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s no different than the rest of us,\u201d Paula said about Michelle in a new interview.<\/p>\n

Paula added: \u201cShe probably ate more than any other guest I ever had on the show! She kept eating even dur\u00ading commercials. Know what (the Obamas\u2019) favorite foods are? Hot wings. Y\u2019know \u2013 those kinds of foods that aren\u2019t necessarily top-of-the-list healthy foods.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMichelle now deeply regrets ever being on Paula\u2019s show,\u201d added the source. \u201cThere are a lot of digs she would have been able to brush off, but portray\u00ading her as a high-calorie gorger during her crusade for healthy eating is crossing the line.\u201d<\/p>\n
