Watchwoman: \u00a0<\/strong><\/span>You go Michele! \u00a0Love to hear this woman in action! \u00a0Bachmann sidelined the communists news network (CNN\u2019s) on Sundays show as they attempted to paint her as an extremist, unlike Sarah Palin who didn’t have the acumen to sidestep, turn and swirl into a positive light, felling\u00a0probers’\u00a0questions faster than Paul Bunyon cutting down a huge tree. \u00a0They’re all set to make Bachmann look whacky, nutty — you know, all things negative and wild-eyed. \u00a0And Bachmann does it without a teleprompter! \u00a0Hurrah\u00a0for Michele! \u00a0Think about this. \u00a0If she can spar with CNN’s commie\u00a0bushwhackers, imagine how she’ll do when negotiating with other commie\u00a0wackos in governments, foreign and domestic, other commie newsmen from Al Jazeera,\u00a0and Muslim\u00a0Terrorists. \u00a0Go, go, go Michele Bachmann. \u00a0Dance the quick step with grace and hitting the target exactly like THE LAST GREAT COMMUNICATOR<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0we had! Crowley\u2019s questions seemed calculated to paint Bachmann as a fringe candidate.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat are your credentials to move towards the center?\u201d she asked. \u201cTea party people are seen [in polls] as uncompromising \u2026 doesn\u2019t that put you outside the mainstream? \u2026 The impression is that people supported by the tea party don\u2019t compromise.\u201d<\/p>\n

Crowley\u2019s questions matched the themes pushed by Democratic Party advocates, who say GOP candidates are controlled by the tea party movement, and that the movement\u2019s agenda is inflexible.<\/p>\n

This criticism was boosted recently by a New York Times poll, which showed a large drop in support for the tea party movement since April. That poll has been criticized for including too few conservative respondents.<\/p>\n

In response to Crowley\u2019s questions, Bachmann responded carefully but firmly. She said she was elected in a swing district in a Democratic-leaning state, and that \u201cwe\u2019ve been able to attract a lot of people to vote for me who are Democrats or independents.\u201d<\/p>\n

The tea party movement has \u201ca pretty mainstream agenda\u201d because Americans believe federal government spending is out of control, she said.<\/p>\n

Asked by Crowley to identify an area where she has compromised, Bachmann smiled and said, \u201con big issues, I don\u2019t compromise, I don\u2019t compromise on my core principles.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Crowley also asked her to identify her legislative accomplishments. The House of Representatives has been under Democratic control during much of her term on the Hill, Bachmann said, so \u201cwhat I brag about most is what I was able to accomplish [as a state representative] when I was in Minnesota,\u201c including education reform, she said.<\/p>\n

Pressed by Crowley about the White House\u2019s successful push to end the military\u2019s \u201cdon\u2019t-ask, don\u2019t tell\u201d policy, Bachmann said she would likely revive the policy if she were elected president. \u201cThe \u2018don\u2019t ask, don\u2019t tell\u2019 policy worked very well \u2026 yes, I probably would\u201d revive the policy, she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople in Iowa sent a message loud and clear to President [Barack] Obama,\u201d she concluded: \u2018We are done with your policies, we want something different.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
