Watchwoman:<\/strong><\/span>I just hope at the Hetersexual Parade they don’t dress like these do at the Homosexual’s Pride Parade and believe me, these are not representative of the real hard-core porn and live sex acts that take place during the HomoPrideParade on floats with homos dressed to denigrate Christians, wearing nuns’ and priests’ garb, while having penetration with objects to represent the Virgin Mary, crosses and Jesus. \u00a0I have movies of those acts taking place! \u00a0Plus pastors have told me who attend these things to witness on the street the Gospel of Jesus Christ’s\u00a0Redemption\u00a0and Forgiveness to the homosexuals that the prideful homos\u00a0urinate\u00a0on spectators. \u00a0That’s real pride and it takes a lot of intelligence too! \u00a0They know how to pass urine and aim it to hit people. \u00a0Impressed yet? \u00a0I have great\u00a0misgivings\u00a0about a Hetersexual Parade, but I’ll stand by and wait to see if it gets ugly or not. SAO PAULO (The Blaze\/AP) \u2014 The city council of South America\u2019s biggest city has adopted legislation calling for a Heterosexual Pride Day to be celebrated on the third Sunday of each December.<\/p>\n

Poking fun at the city\u2019s proposal, Gawker\u2019s Jeff Neumann writes:<\/p>\n

If anyone\u2019s been put down by society for far too long \u2014 besides young white males \u2014 it\u2019s the straights, of course. That\u2019s precisely why members of Sao Paulo, Brazil\u2019s city council have adopted legislation to create Heterosexual Pride Day.<\/p>\n

Sao Paulo Mayor Gilberto Kassab must sign the legislation for it to become law and has said only that he is studying it. His office declined Wednesday to say whether he supports the proposal.<\/p>\n

The legislation\u2019s author, Carlos Apolinario, said the idea for a Heterosexual Pride Day is \u201cnot anti-gay but a protest against the privileges the gay community enjoys.\u201d<\/p>\n

As an example, he mentioned how Sao Paulo\u2019s huge gay pride day parade is held every year on Paulista Avenue, one of the main thoroughfares in this city of 20 million people, while the March for Jesus organized by evangelical groups is not allowed on the same avenue.<\/p>\n

\u201cI respect gays and I am against any kind of aggression made against them,\u201d Apolinario said. \u201cI have no trouble coexisting with gays as long as their behavior is normal.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Brazilian Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Association criticized the legislation, saying it could provoke homophobic violence.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow many LGBTs will be attacked because of the message that only heterosexuality makes someone a moral person and a good citizen,\u201d the association said in a statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe celebration of heterosexual pride is inappropriate because it belittles the just cause of the LGBT community,\u201d the statement added. \u201cUnlike homosexuals, heterosexuals are not discriminated against simply for being heterosexuals.\u201d<\/p>\n
