Watchwoman: <\/span><\/strong>Anyone who knows me already knows I do not agree with Obama’s policies, but\u00a0threatening\u00a0his life is wrong! \u00a0wrong! \u00a0wrong! \u00a0 Now here is what distresses me<\/strong><\/span>. \u00a0Praying in the Name of Jesus got a Chaplain in the Navy Court\u00a0Martial. \u00a0Merely mentioning the word “God” in Arlington\u00a0Cemetery\u00a0during a funeral (or any other time) \u00a0is forbidden by the Obama Administration. \u00a0A cross in a\u00a0cemetery\u00a0in California has been ordered to be removed because it is a Christian symbol. \u00a0Where is freedom of speech and the freedom to practice religion without the government\u00a0interfering<\/span>?<\/strong> \u00a0So you mean that it’s free speech to threaten to\u00a0assassinate\u00a0a presidential candidate, but it’s not free speech to pray in the name of Jesus or to even say the word “God”? \u00a0Is this insanity, and if it is not, what is<\/span>?<\/strong> \u00a02012 is coming and I’m sure many lunatics will now be free to threaten to\u00a0assassinate\u00a0Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann and any other Republican\u00a0maligned\u00a0by the lamestream news media programs, that includes all those on ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, Public Tax-Supported\u00a0Radio and Public Tax-Supported\u00a0TV, all the Sunday morning TV shows (when all good Christians are in church) and every comedian with a bully pulpit on TV, including Jay Leno, David Letterman and all the other Democrat clones armed with Democrat Talking Points. \u00a0\u25ac Donna Calvin<\/strong><\/p>\n

AP – A La Mesa man who posted racial epithets and a call to “shoot” Barack Obama on an Internet chat site was engaging in constitutionally protected free speech,\u00a0a federal appeals court ruled<\/a>\u00a0Tuesday in overturning his criminal conviction. \u00a0Walter Bagdasarian was found guilty two years ago of making threats against a major presidential candidate in comments he posted on a Yahoo.com financial website after 1 a.m. on Oct. 22, 2008, as Obama’s impending victory in the race for the White House was becoming apparent. Bagdasarian told investigators he was drunk at the time. \u00a0The observation that Obama “will have a 50 cal in the head soon” and a call to “shoot the [racist slur]” weren’t violations of the law under which Bagdasarian was convicted because the statute doesn’t criminalize “predictions or exhortations to others to injure or kill the president,” said the majority opinion written by Judge Stephen Reinhardt. \u00a0“When our law punishes words, we must examine the surrounding circumstances to discern the significance of those words\u2019 utterance, but must not distort or embellish their plain meaning so that the law may reach them,” said the 2-1 ruling in which Chief Judge Alex Kozinski joined but Judge Kim McLane Wardlaw dissented.<\/div>\n
