Rick Santorum\u00a0touched base with Rose, as he plans to make his announcement for candidacy\u00a0on Monday, June 6th.<\/p>\n

In the back of lots of people’s mind is the probing question of “will\u00a0Sarah Palin\u00a0run for President?”\u00a0 She was in the news this week, as she’s been doing a nationwide bus tour, stopping in New Hampshire first, and to other historical sites.\u00a0 It’s more of a “raising awareness tour,” than a “campaign tour,” despite what naysayers are saying.\u00a0 And boy does she have a following of naysayers!<\/p>\n

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann\u00a0hasn’t made her official announcement for her run for President yet.\u00a0 However, Quinn & Rose have nothing but praise for her.\u00a0 Unlike Palin, she’s had experience in handling the media.\u00a0 Palin didn’t have that experience when she first came on the ticket with McCain, and it showed.\u00a0 The\u00a0Katie Couric interview\u00a0was the start of the constant bashing of Sarah Palin.\u00a0\u00a0Michele Bachmann\u00a0is polished.\u00a0 And if the media does to her what they did to Palin, she’s had the experience and wherewithal to handle the bashing.\u00a0 It’s all so exciting as we watch it all unfold.<\/p>\n

And we can’t forget about the Congressman from NY,\u00a0Anthony Weiner.\u00a0 The Democrat from NY was in the news this week for some infidelities.\u00a0 He was caught sending a nearly explicit picture of himself, and we’ll just say, it was lewd.\u00a0 The recipient?\u00a0 A 21 year old, female college student.\u00a0 Weiner was going back and forth all week with reporters, and we’ll admit, it was fun to watch.<\/p>\n

At first, he claimed that someone hacked his\u00a0Twitter\u00a0account.\u00a0 He shortly changed his story to it being a prank.\u00a0 No one is on this guy’s side, including the Democrats.\u00a0 He just can’t escape this one.\u00a0 (Please insert your own jokes).<\/p>\n

This year’s big tea party isn’t going to be in DC.\u00a0 They’ve decided to move it to Kansas City, KS, for the Freedom Jamboree!\u00a0 Speakers include Rose, CL Bryant, Michele Bachmann,\u00a0David Horowitz, and even the Supremes!\u00a0\u00a0Sept 28\u00a0thru\u00a0Oct 1.\u00a0 Extensive details can be found at\u00a0http:\/\/www.freedomjamboree.com<\/a>.\u00a0 It’s going to be awesome, and Rose can’t recommend it enough.<\/p>\n
