Steve Vaus has captured what it is in song to be a Hero of the Faith. \u00a0Steve calls them Renegades. \u00a0George Barna calls them Revolutionaries. \u00a0We all can call them Heroes of the Faith. <\/strong><\/p>\n

This\u00a0Memorial\u00a0Day weekend we remember the Heroes who died for us. \u00a0We recall the Marines, Navymen, Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, Police Force, Fireman, EMT’s, every 9-11 Hero, Chaplains, Pastors, every Vet from every War, living and dead, all the people who gave all for the U.S.A.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let us not forget the 12 Apostles (St. Paul replaced the traitor, Judas Iscariot) and all the other Heroes of the Faith who died for us so that we could go to church this Sunday and read from the Holy Bible, sing praises to our Lord God, pray to our Father and Creator of the Universe in the Name of Jesus Christ. \u00a0They are Heroes. \u00a0Steve Vaus sings of those\u00a0heroes from 1 AD to 2011 AD. \u00a0George Barna writes of them.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Get used to the fact that your life is lived in the context of warfare.\u00a0 Every breath you take is an act of war.\u00a0 To survive and thrive in the midst of the spiritual battle in which you live, seek a faith context an experience that will enhance your capacity to be Christlike.\u00a0 This mission demands single-minded commitment and a disregard for the criticisms of those who lack the same dedication to the cause of Christ.\u00a0 You answer to only one Commander in Chief, and only you will give an explanation for your choices.\u00a0 Do whatever you have to do to prove that you fear God, you love Him, and you serve Him \u2014 yes, that you live only<\/em> for Him.<\/strong><\/p>\n

That is the commitment of a Revolutionary, a Renegade.<\/strong><\/p>\n
