Move over Adam and Eve.\u00a0 Here comes Adam and Steve, as well as Samantha and Delilah.\u00a0 A newly revised gay-friendly Bible is set to go on sale in the next few weeks.\u00a0 Reaction to the\u00a0announcement has been met with\u00a0venom from conservative Christian groups.<\/p>\n

Pink Cross Publishing, the same company that published a\u00a0gay-friendly version of the Koran, stated that they were adding the finishing touches to the newly revised Bible.\u00a0\u00a0Mary and Joseph will be replaced by Mary and Josephine, a lesbian couple unable to have\u00a0children the conventional\u00a0way, hence the virgin birth of Jesus.\u00a0 All of Jesus\u2019 disciples will be\u00a0gay except for Judas.\u00a0\u00a0In the new\u00a0Bible, all of the disciples will pair off after the Last Supper with the exception of Judas.\u00a0 Satan will also\u00a0be straight.\u00a0 The new gay-friendly Bible\u00a0 has yet to be named.<\/p>\n

Westboro Baptist Church\u00a0has promised to\u00a0picket Pink Cross Publishing and any store selling the new Bible.\u00a0 In response, members of the gay community have stated that they will purchase the new Bible to support Pink Cross Publishing.<\/p>\n

A companion workbook for children will also be available for use in Sunday schools.\u00a0 With input from newly defrocked priests, a Catholic version of the gay-friendly Bible will be\u00a0published by year end.<\/p>\n
