According to the Hill<\/em><\/a>, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) is planning to introduce a DREAM\u00a0Act amnesty:<\/p>\n

Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.), the only Senate Republican of Hispanic heritage and a possible vice presidential pick, is working on an alternative version of the Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act, which would grant legal status to illegal immigrants who came to the country at a young age and serve in the military or attend college.
\nThe efforts have unnerved Democratic leaders, who are watching warily \u2014 Democrats see their advantage over Republicans among Hispanic voters as one of the party\u2019s greatest strengths in November.<\/p>\n

Danny Diaz, a Republican strategist who worked on Sen. John McCain\u2019s (R-Ariz.) 2008 presidential campaign, said Republicans recognize they need to improve their image among Hispanic voters. \u201cHispanics are concerned with the economy first and foremost, but if they perceive a party and its candidates to be hostile to an issue like immigration reform, it disallows the conversation to move forward in any meaningful way,\u201d he added. \u201cRepublicans have been hurt by the tone and tenor of the conversation. There\u2019s no disputing that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rubio entered the immigration debate earlier this month during an interview with Geraldo Rivera when he hinted at possible common ground for moving forward.<\/p>\n

Rubio said the DREAM Act has \u201ca series of problems\u201d as now drafted.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do think there is another way to deal with this,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd I think that one of the debates that we need to begin to have is a difference between citizenship and legalization.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can legalize someone\u2019s status in this country with a significant amount of certainty about their future without placing them on a path toward citizenship, and I think that is something that we can find consensus on,\u201d he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Tell him\/her that any amnesty for illegal aliens is just plain wrong when 20 million Americans cannot find a full-time job and ask him\/her to talk to Senator Rubio about this misguided attempt to help out illegal alien youths or gain votes for Republicans.

I see Sen. Rubio really meant it when he said he wasn’t interested in the VP slot.\u00a0 Republicans will never be energized by a pro-amnesty VP candidate.\u00a0 Please tell him to drop his plans to introduce the DREAM Act amnesty!<\/p>\n

There are 20 million Americans without a full-time job. How does passing an amnesty that would amnesty and provide work permits for millions of illegal aliens help these jobless Americans? Clearly, it does not. We both know that this amnesty would make it harder for jobless Americans to find work.<\/p>\n

The upcoming election is not a good enough reason for Sen. Rubio trying to push through an amnesty. Americans don’t want one and will resist any attempts by the Senate to force one upon us (just like we did during the 2007 Bush-Kennedy-McCain amnesty uprising).<\/p>\n

Even Sen. Harry Reid and the New York Times are ridiculing Sen. Rubio’s amnesty plans because they see it for what it is: a political ploy to get Hispanic votes.\u00a0 Please talk to Sen. Rubio and ask him to drop his DREAM Act amnesty plans.<\/p>\n
