Jeff A. Ziegler, 51, Perry, passed away Feb. 28, 2012, at the State House in Columbus.<\/h1>\n

He was born Oct. 26, 1960, in Willoughby to Gertrude (Lass) and Leonard Ziegler.<\/p>\n

He was a graduate of Eastlake North High School.<\/p>\n

Jeff worked as a government advocate consultant. As head of the SGI Ministries, he was an accomplished motivational speaker who spoke at churches and colleges around the country. As a political advocate and author; his-recent book was accepted into the Library of Congress.<\/p>\n

Survivors are his wife, Beth (Rupert) Ziegler of Perry; three children, Hannah, Andrew and Jeb; three stepchildren, Joe, Jared and Chessa; five grandchildren, Parker, Cooper, Sutton, Kendall and Rylynn; father, Len Ziegler (wife, Lee); and his brother-in-Christ, Gary Humble.<\/p>\n

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gerry Ziegler.<\/p>\n

Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012, at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Crossroads Church, 6685 Middle Ridge Road, Madison, OH 44057.<\/p>\n

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Crossroads Church. The Rev. Chester Rupert will officiate and will be assisted by Pastor Kelly Irish and Pastor Michael Haury.<\/p>\n

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.<\/p>\n
