\"\"Watchwoman:<\/span> I am posting “Judge and Judge Not – What does the Bible say?” because one of the negative comments I get come from people who believe they are Christian and they are calling me to task because they think I have been judging a human’s behavior and calling it sin based upon the Written Word of God, the Authorized King James Bible, using one verse from the Bible that says we are not to judge, which we’ll examine below.\u00a0 Before that examination; however, I cannot help but to point out they are overlooking the very concept they condemn, that they themselves are judging my script describing God’s Laws (Holy Bible) and are making the assumption that they know what the Bible says, that they are right, and that I am wrong about what God calls sin and what He applauds, even though it’s written out very clearly and I am merely reiterating God’s Words.\u00a0 How much more judgmental can one be?\u00a0 But going beyond their obvious oversight and complicated conundrum\u00a0 —-\u00a0 let us look at what the Bible really says and examine God’s Holy Word in the Authorized King James Bible, because we are told that it has been written for instruction, correction and is 100% infallible.\u00a0 [King James Bible – 2nd Timothy 4:2]\u00a0 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. [3]\u00a0 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; [4]\u00a0 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fabl<\/em>e. (unquote)\u00a0 The King James Bible is the inspired Word of God and without error.\u00a0 God’s Word, the Holy Bible, is the only thing on earth that is perfect and without error.\u00a0 No one may add one jot or tittle, or be warned, if you are inclined to do so, you will suffer God’s Judgment. \u00a0[King James Version – Deuteronomy 4:2]\u00a0 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.<\/em> \u00a0[King James Version – Revelation 22:18-19]\u00a0 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: [19]\u00a0 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.<\/em>\u00a0 (unquote)\u00a0 God’s Word never changes and it is everlasting, utterly infallible.\u00a0 [King James Bible – Matthew 5:18]\u00a0 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0 (unquote)\u00a0 Satan knows that if he proves ONE word of scripture wrong, he wins.\u00a0 It is either all true or none of it is true.\u00a0 Satan every since he fell from grace and was cast out of heaven has worked to break scripture, but he has never succeeded and he never will, for it is written [King James Version – John 10:35]\u00a0 … the scripture cannot be broken<\/em>.\u00a0 \u25ac Donna Calvin<\/strong><\/p>\n

JUDGE AND JUDGE NOT<\/strong><\/p>\n

[King James Version – Matthew 7:1-2]\u00a0 Judge not, that ye be not judged. [2]\u00a0 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.<\/em><\/p>\n

[King James Version – 1 Corinthians 5:12]\u00a0 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?<\/em><\/p>\n

[King James Version – 1 Corinthians 6:2]\u00a0 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?<\/em><\/p>\n

The problem is obvious:\u00a0 we are not to judge according to Matthew 7 while on the other hand, we are told that Christians are to judge all things (Romans 14:13); that they are commanded to judge all things (1 Corinthians 2:15); and that someday they shall judge the world (1 Corinthians 6.2).<\/p>\n

In order to resolve this we need only to look at the overall context of each passage.\u00a0 The Matthew passage is followed immediately by the admonition that “with what Judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged.”\u00a0 The Lord thus shows that the believer should judge with great care; that it is not a light matter.\u00a0 He refers to human judgment.\u00a0 If we judge by our own opinions or human standards, we are subject to error.<\/p>\n

By contrast, if we judge according to the commandments of God, we cannot err.\u00a0 We should not judge when we do not have to, and when we do judge, we should exercise wisdom; for we, too, will be judged (1st Corinthians 3:10-16).\u00a0 But if we condemn the things which God condemns, and laud the things which God lauds, then we shall judge rightly always.<\/p>\n
