VENTURA (CBS)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 A Ventura County Girl Scout is at the center of a national controversy after she released a video calling for a boycott of the group\u2019s popular cookies over what she calls a \u201cradical homosexual agenda\u201d.<\/p>\n

The girl \u2014 who has only been identified as 14-year-old \u201cTaylor\u201d \u2014 cited the recent decision by Girl Scout officials to allow a 7-year-old \u201ctransgender\u201d boy to join a Colorado-based troop last fall.<\/p>\n

In a video<\/a>\u00a0that first appeared Wednesday, Taylor linked proceeds from cookie sales \u201cto push a radical homosexual agenda at the expense of the Scouts\u2019 safety.\u201d<\/p>\nhttp:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=TD41W5mIWmY<\/a>\n

A statement on the group\u2019s website\u00a0HonestGirlScouts.com<\/a>\u00a0called for the Girl Scouts of USA to \u201celiminate sex education from Girl Scout permission and curricula\u201d.<\/div>\n

The group also is calling for the organization to cut ties with the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) for its \u201cfriendship\u201d with Planned Parenthood \u201cand its worldwide agenda of explicit sexual education for young children\u201d.<\/p>\n

A flier on the website<\/a>\u00a0alleged new CEO Anna Maria Chavez to be a member of a \u201cpro-abortion feminist coalition\u201d and suggested former CEO Kathy Cloninger never retracted her stated goal of partnering with Planned Parenthood to provide \u201cgood\u201d and \u201cinformation-based\u201d sex education.<\/p>\n
