Watchwoman:<\/strong><\/span>The\u00a0deceptive, biased, liberal Democrat-controlled\u00a0commie media has Americans convinced they are liberal when the exact opposite is true. \u00a0The media hacks are liberal jerks, but the average American is still conservative, but they don’t know they’re conservative. When we talk to our neighbors — about 600 of them in our precinct where we live, I know that 99% of them are conservative, yet our precinct consistently votes Democrat. Why? Because the unions and media and Hollyweird have convinced them to fear conservatives. Nevertheless, they are conservative and vote exactly the opposite of how they actually believe. That’s the power of unlimited money, voter fraud and the abuse by the media brainwashing Americans. \u00a0How is this happening? \u00a0Because we have turned away from God and He is no longer blessing us. \u00a0Read\u00a0Deuteronomy\u00a028 and\u00a0[Revelation 2:4] “Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.” God, in the Ten Commandments demands to be our First Love. While many elements of society seem to surely be shifting ever-further to the left of the political spectrum, a recent Gallup poll released Thursday reveals otherwise. According to the survey, conservatives continue to make up the largest political segment in the country, outnumbering liberals nearly two-to-one.<\/p>\n

The Gallup poll shows that 40 percent of Americans consider themselves conservative; 35 percent moderate; and 21 percent view themselves as liberal. The figures are no different than they were in 2010 and\u00a0conservatives have outnumbered both moderates and liberals for three years running now.<\/p>\n

Politico<\/a>\u00a0adds:<\/p>\n

Conservatives began outstripping moderates in 2008, and the percentage of moderates has declined steadily over the last two decades, from 43 percent 1992 to 35 percent in 2011.<\/p>\n

In fact, both self-identified conservatives and liberals have risen in number since the early 1990s, indicating a growing polarization in American politics.<\/p>\n

While self-identified conservatives dominate the Republican Party, making up 71 percent, the Democratic Party is more split \u2013 39 percent of Democrats view themselves as liberal, and 38 percent consider themselves moderates.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It might be worth noting that, per the poll\u2019s findings, independents are mainly moderate (41 percent), but veer more towards conservatism (35 percent) than liberalism (20 percent).<\/p>\n

The Gallup poll was conducted with 20,392 respondents and allows for a margin of error of plus or minus one.<\/p>\n
