The\u00a0report\u00a0<\/a>states that the organization received\u00a0\u201cgovernment health services grants and reimbursements\u201d totaling $487.4 million.<\/p>\n Previous Planned Parenthood annual\u00a0reports showed total funding from \u201cgovernment grants and contracts\u201d (which were $363.2 million in 2009),\u00a0while this year\u2019s report also\u00a0accounts for\u00a0payments from Medicaid managed care plans among the payments the group\u00a0receives from government\u00a0.<\/p>\n When compared with previous annual reports, the latest one shows an almost steady increase in the number of abortions performed at its clinics: In 2006, Planned Parenthood did\u00a0289,750 abortions; in\u00a02007,\u00a0it\u00a0did\u00a0305,310; in\u00a02009, it\u00a0did\u00a0331,796; and, in 2010, it did\u00a0329,445–a small decrease from the previous year.<\/p>\n (All AP Images have been removed and replaced with royalty free pictures)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n The\u00a0annual report for fiscal year 2008-2009<\/a>\u00a0does not include abortion or adoption figures, but a PPFA Fact Sheet posted on its Web site and said to be current as of September 2010, states that 324,008 abortions were performed at Planned Parenthood clinics around the country in 2008.<\/p>\n According to PPFA\u2019s annual report for\u00a0fiscal year 2007-2008<\/a>,\u00a0 in 2007 Planned Parenthood\u2019s \u201cadoption referrals to other agencies\u201d totaled 4,912. In Fiscal Year 2010 that number was 841, a decrease of 82.8 percent.<\/p>\n The PPFA Fact Sheet states that adoption is included in 1 percent of services in 2008 (primary care and \u201cother services\u201d are included in that 1 percent), or 2,405 adoption referrals.<\/p>\n The latest annual report claims that abortion services make up 3 percent of \u201cmedical services,\u201d but PPFA states it served 3 million people and performed 329,445 abortions \u2013 numbers that show 11 percent of customers received an abortion.<\/p>\n The Fiscal Year 2009-2010 annual report also shows that PPFA\u2019s net assets as of June 30, 2010 topped $1 billion, specifically $1,009,600,000.00.<\/p>\n Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the Susan B.
