The annual tradition continued when the party moved to the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.answers.com\/topic\/waldorf-astoria-hotel\" target=\"_top\">Waldorf-Astoria Hotel<\/a>\u00a0(1959-1976) and the song still kicks off the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.answers.com\/topic\/times-square\" target=\"_top\">Times Square<\/a>\u00a0celebration every New Year&#8217;s Eve.
