It might hurt people’s feelings, the teachers would say<\/em><\/div>\n
December 25th\u00a0is just a ‘ Holiday ‘.<\/em><\/div>\n

Yet the shoppers were ready with cash, checks and credit<\/em><\/div>\n
Pushing folks down to the floor just to get it!<\/em><\/div>\n
CDs from Madonna, an X BOX, an I-Pod<\/em><\/div>\n
Something was changing, something quite odd!<\/em><\/div>\n
Retailers promoted Ramadan and Kwanzaa<\/em><\/div>\n
In hopes to sell books by Franken & Fonda.<\/em><\/div>\n
As Targets were hanging their trees upside down<\/em><\/div>\n
At Lowe’s the word Christmas – was no where to be found.<\/em><\/div>\n
At K-Mart and Staples and Penny’s and Sears<\/em><\/div>\n
You won’t hear the word Christmas; it won’t touch your ears.<\/em><\/div>\n
Inclusive, sensitive, Di-ver-si-ty<\/em><\/div>\n
Are words that were used to intimidate me.<\/em><\/div>\n

Now Barney, Now Dodd, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen<\/em><\/div>\n
On Pelosi, on Boxer, on Kerry, on Clinton !<\/em><\/div>\n
At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter<\/em><\/div>\n
To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter.<\/em><\/div>\n

And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith<\/em><\/div>\n
Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace<\/em><\/div>\n
The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded<\/em><\/div>\n
