CONSERVATIVE GROUP SAYS OVER 60 COMPANIES HAVE JOINED IN BOYCOTT OF \u2018ALL-AMERICAN MUSLIM\u2019<\/h1>\n

As already reported on The Blaze, Lowe\u2019s Home Improvement has pulled its sponsorship from TLC\u2019s \u201cAll American Muslim\u201d after a conservative group known as the Florida Family Association (FFA) emailed companies and asked them to do so.<\/p>\n

The group said the program is \u201cpropaganda that riskily hides the Islamic agenda\u2019s clear and present danger to American liberties and traditional values.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now the group says Lowe\u2019s isn\u2019t the only company to pull its sponsorship from the controversial reality show.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe conservative group claims that more than 60 companies that it emailed, from Amazon to McDonald\u2019s, have also pulled adds from TLC\u2018s \u2019All-American Muslim,\u2019\u201d reports Business Insider.<\/p>\n

However, Lowe\u2019s is the only company to publicly confirm that it has withdrawn its sponsorship. If this is an indication that Lowe\u2019s is the only company to pull its ads, and that the other companies contacted by the FFA haven\u2019t, it could be a major PR nightmare for the home improvement giant.<\/p>\n

\u201cLowe\u2019s decision is controversial but understandable. As soon as the Florida Family Association put out a letter condemning the show, the home improvement store faced the possibility of a boycott by conservative Christians. Pulling the ads, Lowe\u2019s risked outraging liberals,\u201d writes\u00a0Business Insider<\/a>.<\/p>\n
