The flight this morning, from Rome to Gatwick, was fine except for the &#8220;breakfast&#8221; given to the slobs in coach.<br \/>\nIt was probably one of the grossest things I have ever been invited to eat.<br \/>\nA brioche (sort of) bun, with a thin slice of ham and what was advertised as &#8220;cheese,&#8221; except it seemed more like a very think, knobbly sort of very yellow butter, all glommed up in a couple of spots.<br \/>\nIs this a typical British breakfast on-the-go?<br \/>\nPlease say no.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As I mentioned, the flight over was great in every way. Amy has written columns for Our Sunday Visitor and Catholic News Service at times over the past twenty years. Her articles have been published in venues ranging from Our Sunday Visitor to the New York Times to Commonweal. She has written 17 books. 18, if you included the as yet tragically unpublished novel. Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
