Providence was asked about having Isada on staff when the ERD\u2019s state, \u201cCatholic health care institutions need to be concerned about the danger of scandal in any association with abortion providers.\u201d The hospital replied, \u201cWe do not believe the activities you brought up about Dr. Isada’s past have any impact on his ability to practice at Providence Alaska Medical Center, nor do we believe there is any reason for concern about the procedures he has performed or will perform in our facility.
