I pray my way through breakfast and recite the reading on the drive to church. I try to get there early and have some quiet time to focus myself on my task. If there\u2019s time I say a rosary, but that\u2019s only happened once. As I\u2019m on my way to the ambo I pray not for myself but for those that listen. I\u2019ve read the text who knows how many times. If I\u2019ve prepared correctly, and if I\u2019ve prayed for sufficient guidance, then I\u2019ll do alright. But the people listening have only 90 seconds to hear it and absorb it. Afterwards, no matter how nervous I was, I don\u2019t feel relieved that it\u2019s over. I feel a little sorry that it\u2019s gone already. I try to remember to say thank you for the opportunity to read, and hope that the message was received.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
