Wright for the past three months, as the right rail indicates. I&#8217;ve been reading other things, but not as much as I should. Mostly novels. Mostly 20th century novels with Catholic sensibilities. Short ones, long ones, turgid ones, luminous ones. All out of print &#8211; so no Amazon links to share. <\/p>\n<p>And work? Well, I&#8217;m currently working on a devotional project, due in a few weeks, which explains my lack of deep spiritual thoughts here.  But after that, and one more much shorter project, I&#8217;m done for a good while with that kind of writing. To put it bluntly: In the past year, I&#8217;ve written four books. None of them <em>War and Peace,<\/em> grant you, but four books is four books. Plus other stuff. Amy has written columns for Our Sunday Visitor and Catholic News Service at times over the past twenty years. Her articles have been published in venues ranging from Our Sunday Visitor to the New York Times to Commonweal. She has written 17 books. 18, if you included the as yet tragically unpublished novel. Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
