The 35-year-old priest worked as an associate pastor at St. Patrick’s Church in Portland, which is located between Lansing and Grand Rapids. Beas, who church officials said was ordained in Pakistan in 1994, transferred to St. Patrick’s in November 2001 after spending about six months serving as an associate pastor at Holy Family Parish in Sparta.<\/p>\n
