Met lots of nice folks, signed many, many books.  I was especially pleased to meet Ted Olsen, the esteemed and hard-working editor of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.christianitytoday.com\/ct\/2004\/122\/22.0.html\">Christianity Today&#8217;s Weblog.<\/a> Earlier, Michael had a chance to briefly meet N.T. Wright &#8211; wish I could have!<\/p>\n<p>And since writing is the topic of the week, check out the lengthy conversation at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.exceptionalmarriages.com\/weblog\/\">HMS Blog about Catholic journalism.<\/a> Wish I had time to weigh in, but I don&#8217;t, because there&#8217;s a lot to be said. <\/p>\n<p>Today, we are checking out of this joint, heading downtown, where I think the kids and I will spend much of the day at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msichicago.org\/\">Museum of Science and Industry<\/a>, which we&#8217;ve never been to before, and perhaps take in some other points in that area of Chicago. Michael will be at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bookexpoamerica.com\/App\/homepage.cfm?moduleid=42&amp;appname=288\">Book Expo<\/a>. The exhibit floor doesn&#8217;t open until Friday, but there are professional seminars and such today that he will be attending. Amy has written columns for Our Sunday Visitor and Catholic News Service at times over the past twenty years. Her articles have been published in venues ranging from Our Sunday Visitor to the New York Times to Commonweal. She has written 17 books. 18, if you included the as yet tragically unpublished novel. Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
