{"id":7063,"date":"2004-07-07T22:49:03","date_gmt":"2004-07-07T22:49:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/viamedia\/2004\/07\/what_is.html"},"modified":"2004-07-07T22:49:03","modified_gmt":"2004-07-07T22:49:03","slug":"what_is","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/viamedia\/2004\/07\/what_is.html","title":{"rendered":"What is????"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Okay, who else is watching the guy from Utah on Jeopardy!?<\/p>\n<p>I was vaguely aware that something was up a couple of weeks ago because occasionally, as I peeked out of the kitchen while preparing dinner and Michael and Joseph were watching <a href=\"http:\/\/sports.espn.go.com\/tvlistings\/s\/PTI.html\">PTI<\/a>, I&#8217;d hear Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon toss out some mention of this Jeopardy! champion, and wonder why.<\/p>\n<p>Then we went to Florida and watched it with Michael&#8217;s parents, and I got it &#8211; no more five-time limit, eh? And this guy from Utah thinks <em>he&#8217;s <\/em> so smart?<\/p>\n<p>Well.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve watched it the past couple of days, and I imagine I&#8217;m not alone in getting ticked off. It&#8217;s pretty obvious why the five-time limit was in place and why it was a good thing. If you&#8217;ve been on the show twenty-five times, <em>of course<\/em> you have an advantage over all challengers. You&#8217;re more comfortable, you don&#8217;t have stage fright, you&#8217;ve already won <strong>800,000<\/strong> dollars, you&#8217;re looser, you know how the button thingy works&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Harrumph. Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
