Jean Vanier spoke at 10, and I missed it. <\/a><br \/>\nMass is at 11 &#8211; it will be interesting to see what that&#8217;s like.<br \/>\nI am not sure what this whole &#8220;Ark of the New Covenant&#8221; is about. Can someone explain?&#8221;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration:underline\">On the Mass: <\/span><br \/>\nI didn&#8217;t see any of yesterday&#8217;s Mass, and am half-watching this one in between chores. How are they dealing with the bilingualism? I don&#8217;t like big opening processions with everyone carrying symbols of ourselves, but that&#8217;s hard to avoid these days. The music I have caught seems good &#8211; the Responsorial Psalm was <em>very <\/em>nicely done, with a 4-person schola doing the verses in a way that always strikes me as effective &#8211; one person starts and the rest join in a line or so later in harmony.\u00a0 The verses unaccompanied.<br \/>\nThe consecration was chanted. Pater Noster and Agnus Dei in Latin. Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
