That\u2019s when the Benedictine Sisters arrived in her life.<\/p>\n<table class=\"clear\" align=\"right\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td align=\"center\"><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td align=\"center\">\n<h6><\/h6>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>They offered to establish a small novitiate at their motherhouse in Clyde for the monks as a training for women interested in religious life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn less than a year I was the only woman remaining,\u201d Lahl said, \u201cand since the monks said I couldn\u2019t return to become a community of one, I stayed on at Clyde as a volunteer while discerning where God was leading me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As she lived with the Benedictine Sisters, she began to treasure their tremendous sense of hospitality, love and dedication to the Eucharist. She realized she was right at home with them.<\/p>\n<table class=\"clear\" align=\"right\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td align=\"center\"><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td align=\"center\">\n<h6><\/h6>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a beautiful balance of monastic life here enabling the inner silence for mindfulness of God\u2019s presence,\u201d she said. \u201cThis is where I was meant to be. Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
