In about a week, my son leaves for London. It’s not his first time in England. After his junior year in high school, he did the University of Dallas Thomas More in London study program.<\/a> He liked it very much except for the fact it was, you know…a course, and he had to write papers and such. (But it paid off – add those 3 credits to the many he got during high school, and he could begin college as a Sophomore, with all of his core requirements completed.) <\/p>\n

So this isn’t a totally new experience, and he has quite a bit of travelling under his belt in  general  – he’s been to Paris, India and Lima. But this will be the first time he’s stayed anywhere for a long period, really had a chance to immerse imself in the place, and such. He’s very flexible – he might leave London and go elsewhere for the rest of the month, or he might not. Day trips are on the menu. <\/p>\n

But…suggestions for a 21-year old in London? Essential things he needs to know re\/transportation and such? Quirky things for him to see and do?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
